BILLETSPIN is the true story of one man’s hobby turned passion, turned career. A now globally recognized name, BILLETSPIN’s precision crafted and custom designed spinning tops are created by Rich Stadler, an engineer with over 25 years of experience. Manufactured in Wisconsin, this hobby turned full-time job first found success on KICKSTARTER.COM back in April of 2015. The first BILLETSPIN tops were launched in a successful internet campaign, raising more than $35,000 achieved with over 450 backers. BILLETSPIN continued to grow its community on Instagram and Facebook as Rich Stadler released more complicated top designs all while following his passion. Finding new inspiration, Rich has now moved to also creating incredible pens, fidgets and whistles to be utilized as everyday carry items for thousands of customers.

Most BILLETSPIN tops are limited-edition pieces, never offered or recreated again. Rich’s product inspirations originate from simple everyday objects or come spontaneously and often unexpectedly. With each new release Rich pushes himself to surpass his previous design in complexity and performance… all while keeping up with demand.

For its second fundraising campaign in March of 2016 BILLETSIN released the “Navigator” top. Introduced on INDIEGOGO, the “Navigator” went above and beyond its goal, raising over $200,000 with over 1000 backers in just 30 days. By this time BILLETSPIN was quickly becoming an international phenomenon. Rich’s spin tops were selling out within seconds of launch and being shipped out all over the world to all different ages and demographics. People were mesmerized by the quality and performance time of BILLETSPIN, all while feeling a sense of childhood nostalgia.

In late 2016 and early 2017 BILLETSPIN released its two most successful and popular tops to date: the “K2” and the “Matrix”. Smashing all previous sales records, these two top models were the most complicated and iconic tops BILLETSPIN had ever designed.  Offered in exotic materials like Damascus and Zirconium, Rich was now utilizing over 20 exotic materials in his tops, giving his enthusiasts and followers exactly what they wanted at all different price ranges and material combos.

Today BILLETSPIN is considered the largest and most iconic spinning top company in the world and is adding the Everyday Carry Community to his faithful followers. THE PROCESS

Each BILLETSPIN item is machined from premium materials such as steel, bronze, copper and exotic materials like damascus, super conductor and mokume. Each design goes through rigorous research and design stages before finally being machined by state-of-the-art CNC machines. With dozens of unique designs, BILLETSPIN products range from simple 1-piece models to more intricate 3-piece and higher. Utilizing time-tested as well as new technology, the products are meticulously tested and inspected by hand for optimal appearance, performance and balance where needed.
