Due to the extra length of the Energel refill, we utilized Ultem in place of bronze in the mechanism. This reduced the weight without compromising durability and put the balance point right where it needs to be.
Please note in the last pic that the pen does not extend very far out of the nose cap due to the mechanism having a limited length movement. Does not affect the writing capability of the pen.
